Philippines allows entry of foreign nationals effective May 1, 2021

Effective May 1, 2021, foreign nationals with valid visas at the time of entry shall be allowed entry to the Philippines subject to the following conditions:


  1. With pre-booked accommodation for at least seven (7) nights in an accredited quarantine hotel/facility;

  2. Subject to COVID-19 testing at the quarantine hotel/facility on the sixth (6th) day from date of arrival;

  3. Subject to the maximum capacity of inbound passengers at the port and date of entry;

  4. Not holders of Special Resident and Retirees Visa (SRRV) and Temporary Visitor's Visa (Section 9[a]), unless they present an entry exemption issued by the DFA; and

  5. Not a traveler coming from India and/or no travel history from India within the last fourteen (14) days preceding arrival (applicable until May 14, 2021); and

  6. With valid Special Return Certificate or Reentry Permit issued by the Bureau of Immigration.
